Hello! I’m Paloma Souza, and my mission is to transform the way we think about architecture.

During my journey as an architect, I realised that designing beautiful spaces was amazing, but I needed to be certain that they would actually work. That question kept nagging at me: “Will this natural ventilation really work? What if this window doesn’t bring in enough light? Will this room get too hot due to solar exposure?”

It was this restlessness that completely changed my professional trajectory.

My Journey

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism in 2018, I worked three years in the field before realising there was an enormous gap between what we designed and what actually happened after construction. As I’ve always been very interested in sustainability, I decided to dive deep into what really motivated me.

In 2022, I earned my Master’s in Architecture and Environmental Design in London, where I discovered something incredible: bioclimatic computational simulations! So it was no longer necessary to “hope” that a project would work; it became possible to simulate, test and guarantee performance even before the first brick was laid.

Today, I work as a Sustainability Consultant, using technology to analyse aspects such as natural lighting, ventilation, thermal comfort and energy efficiency. It’s science applied to architecture.

What I Do

Through advanced computational simulations, I transform uncertainty into precise data. Whether validating that a cross-ventilation strategy will work perfectly, or demonstrating that a project can reduce energy consumption by 60% if well-designed according to the climate. My job is to provide scientific certainty to design decisions.

My Specialties are in:

  • Natural Lighting Analysis
  • Ventilation and Air Flow Studies
  • Thermal and Energy Modelling
  • Thermal Comfort Assessment
  • Bioclimatic Design Consultancy

Why This Matters

We are experiencing a real climate emergency. Every building constructed today needs to be part of the solution, not the problem. But beyond the environmental impact, there’s something even more fundamental: people deserve comfortable, healthy and efficient spaces.

When I can prove that a project will provide years of natural thermal comfort for a family, or that a commercial building can function with minimal dependence on mechanical systems, I feel that I’m contributing to a better future, one project at a time.

My Mission

I created this portal as a space for learning and sharing. I believe that technical knowledge shouldn’t be restricted to academic circles. My goal is to democratise access to information about environmental design, showing that sustainability is not just a trend, but an urgent necessity and, most importantly, entirely feasible.

Whether you’re an architect, student, builder or simply someone curious about how we can build better, this is your space to learn, question and exchange experiences.

Let’s Talk?

I love connecting with people who share this passion for more conscious architecture. If you have a challenging project, want to better understand bioclimatic simulations, or simply want to exchange ideas about the future of sustainable construction, I’ll be here.

Welcome to my world, a place where architecture, technology and sustainability meet to create the future we want to inhabit.
